Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That, notwithstanding any time limitation contained in section 3744(b) of title 10, United States Code, the President may award, and present in the name of the Congress, the Medal of Honor to Rudolph Salais Vela of San Antonio, Texas, for conspicuous acts of valor performed by him while serving as a private first class in the United States Army during combat operations on Okinawa during June 1945. <all>
