    Mr. Heller of Nevada (for himself, Ms. Berkley, and Mr. Porter) 
 submitted the following concurrent resolution; which was referred to 
                    the Committee on Armed Services

                         CONCURRENT RESOLUTION


 
   Commending the members of the Nevada Army National Guard and Air 
National Guard for their service to the State of Nevada and the United 
                                States.

Whereas the 100 Nevadans of the 72nd Military Police Company, based in 
        Henderson, Nevada, bravely served in Iraq from May 2003 to November 
        2003;
Whereas the 120 Nevadans of the 321st Signal Company, based in Reno, Nevada, 
        bravely served in Kuwait and Iraq from December 2003 to March 2005;
Whereas the 50 Nevadans of the 777th Engineer Company, based in Henderson, 
        Nevada, bravely served in Kuwait from May 2003 to May 2004;
Whereas the 140 Nevadans of the 1864th Transportation Company, based in 
        Henderson, Nevada, bravely served in Kuwait and Iraq from July 2004 to 
        November 2005;
Whereas the 500 Nevadans of the 1/221st Cavalry, based in Las Vegas, Nevada, 
        bravely served at Fort Irwin, California from July 2004 to July 2006;
Whereas the 100 Nevadans of D Company, 113th Aviation, based in Stead, Nevada, 
        bravely served in Afghanistan from January 2005 to June 2006;
Whereas the 10 Nevadans of Detachment 45, OSA, based in Stead, Nevada, bravely 
        served in Kuwait from February 2005 to October 2005;
Whereas the 100 Nevadans of the 593rd Transportation Company, based in Stead, 
        Nevada, bravely served in Iraq from July 2006 to October 2007;
Whereas the 110 Nevadans of the selected members of the 1/221st Cavalry, based 
        in Las Vegas, Nevada, bravely served in Iraq from May 2006 to July 2007;
Whereas the 110 Nevadans of the 72nd Military Police Company, based in 
        Henderson, Nevada, bravely served in Iraq from November 2007 to February 
        2008;
Whereas the 12 Nevadans of the 140th Military Police Detachment, based in 
        Henderson, Nevada, bravely served in Iraq from February 2008 to April 
        2008;
Whereas the 40 Nevadans of the 152nd Airlift Wing and 152nd Intelligence 
        Squadron, based in Reno, Nevada, bravely served in Iraq from September 
        2005 to September 2006;
Whereas the 30 Nevadans of the 192nd Airlift Squadron and 152nd Mait Squadron, 
        based in Reno, Nevada, bravely served in Puerto Rico from July 2005 to 
        October 2005;
Whereas the 45 Nevadans of the 152nd Airlift Wing and 152nd Intelligence 
        Squadron, based in Reno, Nevada, bravely served in Iraq from February 
        2007 to March 2008;
Whereas the 20 Nevadans of the 232nd Operations Squadron, based in Las Vegas, 
        Nevada, bravely serve in current operations in Afghanistan and Iraq; and
Whereas the 15 Nevadans of various units of the Nevada Air National Guard, based 
        in Reno, Nevada, bravely served in Iraq from February 2007 to March 
        2008: Now, therefore, be it
    Resolved by the House of Representatives (the Senate concurring), 
That Congress commends the members of the Nevada Army National Guard 
and Air National Guard for their brave service to the State of Nevada 
and the United States.
