Petition for Declaratory Ruling on Streamlining the Commission's 
Antenna Structure Clearance Procedure

AGENCY: Federal Communications Commission.

ACTION: Notice; request for comments.

SUMMARY: The Public Safety and Private Wireless Division of the 
Wireless Telecommunications Bureau invited the public to comment on a 
Petition for Declaratory Ruling filed by Teletech, Inc. concerning the 
Commission's streamlining of its antenna structure clearance procedure 
and revision of the Commission's rules concerning construction, 
marking, and lighting of antenna structures. This action was taken to 
provide the public and those parties required to register antenna 
structures with the Commission with an opportunity to comment on 
Teletech's petition. Release of the Public Notice will ensure that 
interested parties fully participate in the Commission decision on 
whether to grant Teletech's request.

DATES: Comments must be filed on or before November 5, 1998, and reply 
comments on or before November 16, 1998.
