International Competition Policy Advisory Committee (ICPAC); 
Notice of Hearings

    The International Competition Policy Advisory Committee (``Advisory 
Committee'') will hold hearings on April 22-23, 1999. The Advisory 
Committee was established by the Department of Justice to provide 
advice regarding issues relating to international competition policy; 
specifically, how best to cooperate with foreign authorities to 
eliminate international anticompetitive agreements, how best to 
coordinate United States' and foreign antitrust enforcement efforts in 
the review of multinational mergers, and how best to address issues 
that interface international trade and competition policy concerns. The 
hearings will be held at the Center for Strategic and International 
Studies, B-1 Conference Center, 1800 K Street, NW, Washington, DC. The 
agenda and current schedule for the hearings are as follows:

Day 1--April 22, 1999

    Attendance is open to the interested public, limited by the

person listed below for consideration by the Advisory Committee. All
