ACTION: Notice of meeting. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- SUMMARY: NRC will host a public meeting in Rockville, Maryland. During the meeting, staff from the Environmental Protection Agency and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission will discuss the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Between the Environmental Protection Agency and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission titled, ``Consultation and Finality on Decommissioning and Decontamination of Contaminated Sites,'' and proposed plans for its implementation. The MOU can be viewed on the Internet at the following Web site: http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/doc-collections/news/2002/02-120.html. Purpose: This meeting will provide an opportunity to discuss the MOU and next steps in implementation. DATES: The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday November 5, 2002, from 1 pm to 4:30 pm.
